Return for all products except Bumbleride strollers

If you are in any way unhappy with your Danish by Design purchase you may return or exchange it under the following conditions:

  1. Must be returned within 14 days of receipt.
  2. Must be purchased on www.danishbydesign.com.au
  3. The product must be as new, i.e. unused and undamaged in original packaging including all accessories and user manuals where applicable. We also require that you take sufficient care when packaging the goods for return so they can arrive undamaged.
  4. Email info@danishbydesign.com.au with the following details at hand: Your Name, Invoice Number, Reason for Return, and Request for Replacement, Exchange, or Refund. We will then issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation form and a freight label for you. Please note, for change of mind purchases, the cost of returning any item(s) will be at the buyer's expense. Refunds will be finalised once your item(s) has been received and processed.
  5. Smaller items can be returned free of charge, however, bigger items may incur a postage fee.
  6. Please note we are unable to refund initial postage/shipping and handling of products.
  7. Our return policy does not apply if the product has been used, worn, soiled, or damaged. We reserve the right to refuse a return if these requirements are not met.
  8. Although each Danish by Design product has received a high level of quality control, in the rare instance that the product is faulty, we will replace it. If a part of a product is deemed faulty, we will endeavour to replace that part as opposed to the entire product
  9. Danish by Design is NOT responsible if you change your mind, after the delivery of your goods. In other words, we reserve the right to refuse the return of an item if it is delivered as ordered, it is not faulty, and the goods are as pictured on the website. This policy relates particularly to large and heavy furniture items which are subject to a greater risk of freight and handling damage in the process of their return to our warehouse. We will use our discretion and assist customers when able.

Return Policy for Bumbleride Strollers

We want you to love your new Bumbleride product! If you need to return it, please review the following guidelines:

    1. Eligibility
      Only customers who purchased directly from bumbleride.com.au or danishbydesign.com.au are eligible for returns under this policy.
      If your item was purchased from another retailer, please contact them directly, as we are unable to process returns, exchanges, credits, or refunds for third-party purchases.

    2. Return Window & Product Condition
      • Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase, provided the product is in new, unused condition, with all original packaging, tags, accessories, and manuals included.
      • Strollers may be assembled and trialled indoors only but must not be used outside.
      • Returns missing any packaging, accessories, or documentation will not be accepted.
      • Please refer to our reboxing videos for the Era, Indie, Speed or Indie Twin strollers to ensure proper return packaging.

    3. Return Shipping Costs
      • We offer free return shipping for strollers returned from Melbourne only.
      • For returns from other locations, please contact our office to confirm return shipping fees.
      • Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of non-stroller product returns.

    4. How to Initiate a Return
      Please contact our office via email to lodge your return and receive the necessary return documentation.

    5. Refunds
      Once we receive and inspect your return, and it meets our return criteria, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.

 

Warranty

Please fill in this form to submit a warranty claim https://www.danishbydesign.com.au/product-issue-form/. We will then contact you to finalise your warranty claim. Please do not attempt to return an item before you have heard from us (you may be responsible for any associated expenses).
We will not refund or replace a product that you have bought and received where, in our reasonable opinion, the product has: become of unacceptable quality due to fair wear and tear; misuse; failure to use in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions; using it in an abnormal way; or failure to take reasonable care.
