Sun Range Furniture by Troll

Danish by Design is proud to announce their partnership with Swedish company Troll, who has been making quality nursery furniture in Europe since 1994. The “Sun” range is contemporary, stylish and includes a full suite of complimenting pieces. Troll is price conscious whilst also being environmentally accountable in its production processes.
The “Sun” cot complies with Australian standards and measures L1456 x W761 x H850mm. There are two base positions: one high for infants and a low position for older babies. The height of the cot means that there is no need for a drop side and the construction is wonderfully simple yet sturdy. The mattress provided is European cotbed size L1400 x W700 and is made from polyester staple fibre. Read more about the mattress here. A junior conversion kit is available for the toddler which keeps the cot in use until 4-5 years old.

Environmentally friendly
Danish By Design and Troll Nursery are committed to being environmentally responsible.
Measures taken includes using water based non-toxic paints and glues on the furniture. Troll have also developed their own recycling systems that have resulted in eco-friendlier painting lines.
Timber waste is used to generate electricity and efficiently heat their timber kilns and workshops. The remaining waste is used to make timber briquettes, which are an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to fossil fuels.
Troll are continually looking for new ways to reduce their environmental footprint, and remain committed to setting the standard for the nursery furniture industry in the future.
